2.3 Scalability and Performance Design

The separation of roles within FreCx enables efficient scaling.

By limiting the number of Cluster nodes responsible for block production, the network achieves predictable coordination and low latency. At the same time, the larger set of Sync and Vault nodes ensures that validation remains decentralized and robust.

This design allows FreCx to maintain fast block times (~1 second), high throughput and consistent performance under load.
